Polish citizens need a visa to enter Cuba. European citizens must obtain a tourist card before departure, valid for 30 days with the possibility of extension. Passports must be valid for at least six months, and travelers must have health insurance, a return ticket, and proof of accommodation.

In Cuba, the currency is the Cuban peso (CUP). The CUC was phased out in 2021.

Road Traffic Information:

Main roads in Cuba are in good condition, but local roads may have potholes. Cities are crowded, and outside them, roads may lack signs. Speed limits are 50 km/h in cities and up to 100 km/h on highways. Gas stations are rare in rural areas, so keep a fuel reserve. Renting a car requires prior booking and valid insurance.

Electrical Outlets:

Cuba primarily uses Type A and B outlets. Type A has two flat prongs, and Type B has two flat prongs and a grounding prong. It’s advisable to bring an adapter if your devices have a different plug type. The voltage is 110V, and the frequency is 60Hz, so ensure your devices are compatible or bring a voltage converter if necessary.
